Terms and conditions

Your booking terms and conditions

These terms and conditions relate to booking your event, attending your event and any activities before or after your attending the event. Once we have issued a confirmation email to the "Lead Name" on you booking, a contract will exist between you and us. Upon receipt, if you believe that any details on the confirmation email are wrong you must advise us immediately as changes cannot be made later.

If you are booking on behalf of a group, please ensure that you have the consent of all members of the party before making a booking and that all members of your party have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The person who completes the online booking will be the Lead Name for the purposes of the booking. The Lead Name must be 16 years of age or over at the time of booking and is responsible for payment of the total booking price. The Lead Name must confirm that all the other members of the party agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and provide accurate and full information to the remainder of the group in relation to the booking, including any subsequent changes.

1. Age restrictions

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (16+ years old) during the experience. The adult must be a paying member of the group and accepts full responsibility for any under 16s in the group. Under no circumstances are children allowed to be left alone at any time while on the premises.

2. Health and safety

Escape The Fort is not liable for any damages caused by you or anyone in your party not following the rules described before the event.

Under no circumstances are people under the influence of alcohol or drugs permitted to take part in the experience. In such cases, you or any members of your party deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be turned away and no refund will be payable.

All decisions on health and safety matters will be made at the full discretion of Escape The Fort employees.

3. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Booking Conditions and any agreement to which they apply are governed in all respects by English law. You and all members of your party agree that any dispute, claim or other matter which arises between us out of or in connection with your contract or booking will be dealt with exclusively by the Courts of England and Wales.

4. Disabilities and medical matters

Please be aware that Escape The Fort is set within a 200-year old Grade II Listed fort and has limited wheelchair access due to steps and uneven surfaces. If you or any member of your party have any medical status or disabilities which may affect the booking arrangements, please tell us in writing before you confirm your booking so we can advise as to the suitability of the chosen booking.

If we are unable to meet any medical or disability-related requirements you or any member of your party have, we will not confirm your booking. If you did not provide us with full details at the time of booking, we reserve the right to cancel the entire booking and impose applicable cancellation charges.

5. Changes and cancellations made by you

If you would like to change any part of your booking arrangements after our booking confirmation email has been issued, the Lead Name must inform us in writing as soon as possible.

We are unable to guarantee that we will be able to meet any requested changes. Where we can meet a request, we reserve the right, to charge an administration fee of £10 per person per change.

Where we are unable to assist you and you do not wish to proceed with the original booking we will treat this as a cancellation and no refund will be payable.

If you or any other member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us immediately. No refunds will be given for bookings that are cancelled. This includes gift vouchers and bookings made with gift vouchers.

If you wish to rearrange a booking you must inform us at least 7 days before the date your experience is booked for. If we are able to accommodate the change(s), an administration fee may be payable as follows:
